Meditation is beneficial for us on many levels. It is a way of practicing mindfulness. It helps to settle a busy mind. It is physically relaxing. Even if you meditate for only five minutes a day, you will notice benefits. You could use the momentum of the New Year to begin a regular meditation practice.

In this short guided meditation, you will be supported in bringing awareness to the body, sensory experience, space, and finally to awareness itself. The main point of the practice is to fully embrace the present moment with mindfulness and awareness.
